How to Share Your Strava Activity to Instagram Stories

You finished the run. The splits were good. Now you want it on your Story before the cooldown is over. Here is the fastest way to share a Strava activity to Instagram Stories, and how to make it look like yours.

Share straight from Strava

  1. Open the activity in the Strava app.
  2. Tap the share icon.
  3. Choose Instagram Stories. Instagram opens with your activity ready to post.
  4. Add a caption, tag your run club or route, and share.

This works for any run you have recorded or synced to Strava. It is quick, but every runner who uses it gets the same layout.

Share it with ClubRun instead

ClubRun turns the same Strava run into a designed story. Your distance, pace, time, splits and route arrive ready, and you decide how they look.

  1. Connect the run. Import it from Strava or Apple Watch.
  2. Make it yours. Pick a design, recolour the overlay, choose a map style and set the vibe.
  3. Post it. Share to your Story, or copy the transparent layer to use over your own photo or video.

Tips for a Story people stop on

  • Lead with one stat. A PB, a distance or a pace reads faster than a full table of numbers.
  • Use your own photo. A shot from the run beats a plain background every time.
  • Tag the people you ran with. Run club stories travel further when the whole crew reshares them.
